In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Peace be upon you,

[2:38] We said, "Go down therefrom, all of you. When guidance comes to you from Me, those who follow My guidance will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

[20:123] He said, "Go down therefrom, all of you. You are enemies of one another. When guidance comes to you from Me, anyone who follows My guidance will not go astray, nor suffer any misery.


What is so special about guidance? For one, the righteous followers of God's guidance are described as winners (Quran 2:1-5). God takes away their fear, and they will suffer no misery (Quran 2:38, 20:123). Guidance comes only from God (Quran 28:56), and is available to anyone who sincerely chooses it (Quran 2:272). But it's something we cannot take for granted, and it is so important that we pray for it every day in the Contact Prayers (Quran 1:6).

[Quran 3:8] "Our Lord, let not our hearts waver, now that You have guided us. Shower us with Your mercy; You are the Grantor.
